WHAT IS A RELEVANT CHURCH?

The relevance of a local church isn’t in its ability to “look like” the world, but rather in its ability to reach the world. 

Many don’t realize that just because a church has a building and a location in society, doesn’t actually make them relevant to the society. The leadership of a truly Kingdom based church understands that every member of the Church must be trained and equipped in their individual calling out there beyond the walls. They are saved not just to come and build their local church - but to save the lost that are all around them every day. 

The leadership of the church of tomorrow sees every single person in their congregation as “Heaven’s resource,” to minister somewhere. 

You might say, “I’m only comfortable serving in church on a Sunday.” 

Of course that is also “ministry”, but that is more of the general expectation of being part of a family….like washing the dishes or picking up after yourself. Every person also has a ministry, a calling, the thing they were born to do, which has an expression out there  in the world, because your call is connected to reaching the lost.
