1 . Acts of service are a way of bringing heaven to earth. Serving is a fast track to humility, and humility is the door to grace.

2 . As we age we sometimes feel our season of serving is over and look for comfort. However, serving your fellow man is never out of season. 

3 . God views the gift of service (the gift of responsibility) as one of the greatest gifts He can give to His children.

4 . To entrust someone to do what He (God) would do if He was on earth, means that He believes you are capable of being like Him. He trusts you. It means He can see Himself in you. 

5 . When you are given responsibility in God’s house it’s the highest honour because you are being invited to bear the image of God in a temple that is to reflect Heaven.

6 . The immature believe they are more mature, more seasoned, more experienced, more ready than they really are. This confidence in self gives away their pride. 

7 . The leader in your life has the advantage of seeing things you don’t see. So they have the right to set the pace of your promotion. 

8 . To first do it like your father would do it is the primary test of sonship. 

9 . If you can’t do it the way your father wants it done, God knows that you will not do it the way He wants it done. 

10 . Talent, giftedness or even knowledge does not overrule authority. 

11 . Talent, giftedness and knowledge is harnessed and focused by serving under authority. 

12 . Man’s promotion looks like finding ways to promote yourself by using your gifts and using people. 

13 . God’s ways look like serving in the field. He will send someone to call you when you’re ready. 

14 . Just because you aren’t ready yet, doesn’t mean you will never be ready. 

15 . When you have proven to God that you are able to obey…and this is proven through divine service, God will announce you.
